1- Perform the forced restart

  • To Reset Network Settings:
  • On the Home Screen tap on an empty space until the Apps tray pops up.
  • Go to Settings.
  • Select General Management.
  • Tap Reset.

  • If you have set up a PIN, enter it.
  • Confirm the selection.
    Once complete a confirmation window will appear.

After this, enable WiFi so the device can scan available hotspots. Let it reconnect to your own network and check if it still keeps disconnecting, then go to the next step.

3-Power-cycle your network devices

It is possible that the problem is with the network devices such as router or modem. Electronic devices need to be refresh by the time. It can be done by rebooting them. Follow the steps below:

  • Unplug the power adapter of your router and/or modem.
  • If the modem is backed up by a battery, remove the battery.
  • Leave the device without power for 5 minutes.
  • After that, plug it into the wall outlet again and then wait until it becomes online.
  • Let the device reconnect to the network.

Now check again if Galaxy A20 still keeps disconnecting from the WiFi network, then troubleshoot the firmware.
 

4-Wipe Cache Partition

  • Using the Volume Down button, highlight the option “yes”. Select “yes” by pressing Power button.
  •  Your phone will start wiping cache partition.As the process of wiping cache  is complete, highlight “Reboot System Now” using Volume key.

  • Press Power button to start reboot. The device will now reboot longer than usual.

If the device get stuck during Reboot, it means this step fail to fix the error of Samsung Galaxy A20. 

5-Perform Master Reset

So, first have a backup of all your important files and data. Then do  Factory Reset your phone and check if it charges properly after that. For this purpose follow the step below:

  • Turn off the device.
  • Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Bixby key, then press and hold the Power key.
  • When the green Android logo displays, release all keys (‘Installing system update’ will show for about 30 – 60 seconds before showing the Android system recovery menu options).
  • Press the Volume down key several times to highlight “wipe data / factory reset.
  • Select it by pressing Power button.
  • Press the Volume down key until ‘Yes — delete all user data’ is highlighted. Press Power button to select and start the Master Reset.
  • When the master reset is complete, “Reboot system now” is highlighted.
  • Press the Power key to Restart.
  • Hold the Volume down key until Samsung Galaxy finishes restarting.

If this step is fail to fix Samsung Galaxy A20 keeps showing the problem after the reset. Then send the phone to Samsung Service Center.
