Connect an Android Device to a Projector -Wireless

There might be instances where access to a wireless network is not facilitated for the connection between the projector and your laptop. Hence wireless is not an option anymore. So good old wired connections come into play.

HDMI(High-Definition Multimedia Interface)

HDMI is basically an audio/video interface for transmitting uncompressed video data and compressed or uncompressed digital audio data from an HDMI-compliant source device ( display controller)  to a compatible computer monitor, video projector, digital television, or digital audio device

Nearly almost all the modern projectors feature  HDMI ports to support hardwired video connection. Some Android phones pose a Mini-HDMI port on their exteriors,  which helps to connect to the projector with a Mini-HDMI to HDMI cable. These cables are at a very affordable price range.

Also, many USB-C compatible devices such as the Samsung Galaxy M series and Note 9 are able to use a USB-C to HDMI adapter to support the connection. Firstly find out if your Android phone or tablet has a USB-C port and check back with your manufacturer if the device supports using an adapter for HDMI video out.

MHL(Mobile High-Definition Link)

 High-Definition Link is providing a universal stage for portable sound/video interface to permit the marriage from cell phones, tablets, and other compact customer gadgets to top-quality TVs, sound recipients, and projectors.

This is a scenario where you put the micro-USB port on your Android phone to more use. Some manufacturers have exercised MHL standards If this is supported in your device, you  need to purchase an MHL to HDMI adapter so that video signals to be transmitted

But it seems like, more recent android devices have moved to the standards in favor of adopting the USB-C feature .
