How to Overlay a Picture on a Video in Easy Steps

Software Setup

Download the video editor and run the setup file. Follow the wizard to install the program and open it. You will see the start window with several options. Click on New Project and choose Blank project.

Adding Videos

Once you’ve finished with all the settings, hit Apply and preview the result. You can add several images to your video – they will show up at separate tracks. This way you can adjust their settings, appearance, and animation type separately.

Saving the Result

Once you’ve put an image over a video and done editing, preview the result once more from the very beginning. If you are satisfied with the result, hit the Create Video button to render your video. You will be offered to choose from several options – create video for your computer, TV, mobile phone, burn it to DVD or make a clip optimized for social networks. If you decide to burn it to a DVD you can select the menu template, and replace the texts and images there to suit your needs. If you select a video for mobile phones, you will be able to pick the exact model of your phone.
