Add Wireless Charging Feature to your Smartphone
You know that most phones in the world currently do not support wireless charging. But there are some alternatives for your high-end phone to support wireless charging.
Since recently, almost every high-end smartphone has been built to support wireless charging. That means the times have changed. For example, the flagship phones of Google, HTC, Motorola, Lenovo, Sony phones as of 2016, do not support Qi and PMA charging. But Samsung is still the main focus of this feature.
But not everyone in the world uses high-end phones. Those who use low-end phones and mid-range phones are the majority in the world. So how do you get wireless charging support for non-high-end phones? What can we do? Is it good to have wireless charging support for a non-wireless charging phone?
Don’t be afraid. The answers to all those questions are outlined at the bottom of this article.
Wireless Charging Phone Cases
When the wireless charging feature of phones with android and other OS was included, this was a problem for the flagship phone model iPhone. The third parties were quick to resolve the issue. Their solution was a phone case that came with a secure wireless charging induction coil and an integrated charging port.
Mophie is the most popular phone case breed for this. It comes with a Charge Force case and an external battery integrated with the Juice Pack Air. The specialty here is that there is no charging pad. But it was designed using technology that supports Qi and PMA standards. Mophie also offers wireless cases for the Samsung Galaxy series and does not support other phone brands.
The main problem with Mophie is the high price. As a result, consumers are more likely to look for alternative cheaper wireless charging cases.
Stick-On Wireless Charging Adapters
Wireless Charging Adapters is one of the emerging systems in the world. Not having a circular RF induction coil on your phone means that your phone doesn’t support wireless charging. So, you have to add a circular RF induction coil.
With the rapid growth of phones in the ever-changing world, phones with many different designs have been created. Therefore, vendors have to make custom-fit cases. This was so troublesome that the providers made a thin, wrapped induction coil in a secure plastic case, and made a sticker-like device with a glue, USB charging port, to attach the phone. This is a very handy device that can be fitted to any phone.
The main advantage of stick-on adapters is that they are available at any time. USB-C, Apple Lightning, or MicroUSB are just a few examples of stick-on adapters. Select a stick-on adapter that fits your phone’s charging port and stick it on the back of your phone. This is cheaper than wireless charging cases and is as thin as plastic. One of the major disadvantages is that if you want to plug in the charging cable you received when you purchased your phone, you have to remove the stick-on adapter from the phone.
Because of the low cost and compatibility of every phone, I think these stick-on adapters are the best solution for users.
